“ Women on the Range” is a safe and friendly environment whether you’re picking up a gun or bow for the very first time or are in need of a little refresher. If you ever wondered what it is like to shoot archery or shoot clay pigeons right out of the air, you’ll immediately feel at ease in this full-day event. You will be provided with a hands-on, one-of-a-kind experience. No experience or equipment is necessary to participate. No LTC or FID required to participate.
Class begins with continental breakfast during registration and introductions followed by 3 hours of classroom instruction on the safe handling and operation of firearms and archery equipment.
After lunch, which will be provided, participants will move to our club ranges where you will be given the opportunity to shoot the following under the direction of experienced trainers:
Handguns: Revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Shoot under the guidance of our trained instructors and staff.
Rifles: Bolt action and semi-automatic rifles. Shoot under the guidance of our trained instructors and staff.
Primitive firearms: Black powder rifles and handguns. Experience how the colonists did back in colonial times from our club black powder expert.
