Youth Pheasant Hunt

The youth pheasant program is designed to provide young hunters with specialized pheasant hunting training and instruction, as well as reinforce what they learned in Basic Hunter Education. Basic Hunter Education is required to participate in this program. The mandatory seminar will be Saturday, September 12th starting at 9:00am. The hunt will be Saturday, September 26th from 8:00am-4:00pm. More details about the hunt will be provided during the seminar. Young hunters will have the opportunity to practice firearms safety, develop shooting skills, and participate in a special pheasant hunt under the guidance of a safe, experienced adult hunter at the Fitchburg Sportsmen's Club.
