May 20, 2012

Kid's Fishing Derby was held on May 20, 2012. There were 47 boys and 28 girls that registered. Approximately 34 fish were caught. The beautiful sunny day was great for the kids but bad for catching Trout. The prizes for both Boys and Girls were Gift Cards from Dick's Sporting Goods. First place $35.00, Second place $25.00 and Third place $15.00.  


        First Place: Hollie Shattuck with a 13 1/2" Rainbow
        Second Place: Olivia Richard with a 12 1/4" Rainbow 
        Third Place: Cassidy Snyder with a 11" Brookie


       First Place: Ethan Joseph with a 14" Rainbow
        Second Place: Jon Knight with a 12 1/4" Brown
        Third Place: Brandon MacAloney with a 11 7/8" Rainbow

April 29, 2012

On April 27, 2012 we stocked $1,500 worth Of Rainbow and Brook trout from Great Brook Trout Farm.  This equaled to 200 lbs. of fish at $7.50 per pound.

Our derby was held on April 29th.  45 people registered @ $10.00 each, seven re-registered equaling $520.00.   Approximately 96 fish were caught.

It was an excellent day for the derby. The weather was great and the fish were biting all day long. The prizes were $100.00 for first place, $75.00 for second place and $50.00 for third place. The winners were: First place: Joe Amorino with a 13 1/4" Brook, Second place: Jim Belliveau with a 13 1/4" Rainbow, Third place: Bill Leary with a 12 3/4" Rainbow

The prizes were $100.00 for first place; $75.00 for second place; and $50.00 for third place.
